• The Department of Management  was established in the year 1994-95.  The department was most successful in producing talented Human resources and eminent Entrepreneurs to the society. The department was affiliated to Bangalore university till 2007 and got its autonomy status from then. The faculties of the department are giving individual attention to the students also conducting remedial classes for slow learners

• To familiarize the students with various aspects of business organization and its environment

• To provide basic knowledge of impact of money on valuation of financial assets and liabilities

• To familiarize the students with concepts of Principles of Management.
At the end of the three year program in Management the students will able to:

• Demonstrate good comprehension of text in areas of the student’s interest or professional field like Financial accounting, quantitative methods for business decision techniques of accounting systems with specialized practical knowledge on preparing annual financial statement of a corporate body.

• Demonstrate the ability to evaluate, integrate, and apply appropriate information from various concepts of assets, liabilities, reconciliation, accounting for receivables and inventories, capital and revenue expenditure, depreciation and maintenance of various financial documents to create cohesive, persuasive arguments, and to propose design concepts.

• Identify environmental problems, evaluate problem-solving strategies, and develop science-based solutions in accordance with Advanced Excel/Spreadsheets/ Tally/ Business analysis – sufficiently good understanding of the role of business analytics in management decision-making.
• Students will acquire knowledge in the field of management theories and practices to solve business problems.

• Students will demonstrate the ability to apply basic research methods and induct analytical and critical thinking abilities for decision making.

• Students will demonstrate technological competency in e-business solutions, which is suitable for current environment that led by technology disruptions.

• To familiarize the students on how to Apply appropriate judgment derived from knowledge of accounting theory, to financial analysis and decision making. Employ critical thinking skills to analyze financial data as well as the effects of differing financial accounting methods on the financial statements

• To equip students with quantitative skills so that they can employ and build a reliable platform for decision making and also to collect data design plans, analyze data appropriately and interpret and draw conclusions from those analyses

• The main objective is to enable students to understand organizational change and dynamic of groups

• To understand Production and Operation Management and nature of manufacturing systems Factors for selection of Plant Layout, design and cost that facilitate decision making

• Students will be able to apply the fundamental concepts and tools of finance. Appraise the risk profile of firms; specifically, estimate the costs of capital, including debt and equity capital, using financial data. Evaluate the sources of financing for inventory and financial management

• Students will be able to understand the basics of law, the history of law, courts and it’s functioning. To familiarize the students with the meaning, scope and the sources of Business Law.
