The Literary Activities include writing, reporting and editing news stories on all college events for the College news bulletin ‘Vartha Vahini’ which is brought out half yearly on Republic Day and Independence Day. The students are trained in Reporting and Editing which they implement ‘Hands-on’ into the publication of the news bulletin.

A student’s training also includes writing reviews for films and books of fiction/novel. The photographs for all the college events are shot by the amateur student photographers. The photos are also cut lined and captioned by the student editors. The wide gamut of jobs done for the college news bulletin is evaluated and befitting credits is given to the student as part of the Internal Assessment schedule.
