The B.Sc Biotechnology program was started as a UGC sponsored B.Sc Vocational course in the year 1994. The subject is offered in combination with Chemistry and Zoology. The department has experienced teachers and well-equipped laboratories to conduct experiments at undergraduate levels. Industrial visits, student research projects, workshops, guest lectures, and student seminars are an integral part of the department activities.
