Greetings from NMKRV College for Women, a college which has nearly five decades of excellence in education. Our founder Shri. Meda Kasturiranga Setty and Smt. Nagarathnamma Meda Kasturiranga Setty believed in inclusion, change and women empowerment which led them to be the torchbearers for women’s education. This educational institution which they established with their lifetime savings exclusively for women in 1971 as Pre-University College, raised to a degree college with 150 students in 1973 has nurtured several women outstanding in their chosen disciplines in the past 49 years. I am proud to say that we are not only autonomous but are also recognised as a “College with Potential for Excellence” by the University Grants Commission in 2010. The NAAC accredited the college in 2021. Academic autonomy was granted to us in 2005, and we have crossed a milestone by efficiently conducting examinations and announcing results on time.
