PG-Department of Chemistry and Research Centre, NMKRV College for Women, Jayanagar III block, Bangalore -560011 was established in the year 1994-95 by the prestigious Rashtreeya Shikshana Samithi Trust with M.Sc. in Chemistry with Organic Chemistry specialization. Since then the Department has been imparting quality education and training to the students.
The department has been recognised as a research centre for conducting research leading to Ph.D. programme in chemistry in the year 2013-2014 from Bangalore University. From the academic year 2022-2023, the Analytical chemistry course has been started to enable better opportunities for students in the field of research, education and industrial careers in chemical sciences. The Department has received financial grants from various funding agencies such as the University Grants Commission, the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Atomic Energy and Vision grasp on Science and Technology.
We are organising a Two Day International Conference on “Transcending Frontiers in Chemical and Material Sciences” (TFCMS-2025) on the 23rd and 24th January 2025 in our campus. We envisage that there is a need to pay attention to the recent developments in chemistry and its frontier research areas among UG/PG students, research scholars, and academicians.

The abstract of the manuscript should be sent electronically and it should be prepared in MS Word, Times New Roman, 12 font, 1.5-line spacing with a maximum of 300 words. The title should be as short as possible and the authors’ names with initials and affiliations should appear below the title. Five to six keywords are preferred for each abstract.
A space of 1 * 1.5 mts will be provided for each poster, the poster should contain the title, (90 pt, bold type and affiliation 40 pt italic type followed by a short introduction, materials and methods, results and conclusion. The table/ figures and footnotes should be 24 pt and 20 pt size respectively.
