Seminar on Noble Prize Winning Topic

A seminar was organized on Noble Prize winning topics in the field of Chemistry by the Department of Chemistry in association with Karnataka Association for the Advancement of Science and Bangalore Central University on 21st January, 2020. The guest of honour was K Siddappa, Former Vice-chancellor, Bangalore University. The resource persons Dr. A K Shukla, Emeritus Professor, Department of Material Science, IISc, Former Director, Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaikudi detailed on the topic “Development of Lithium-Ion-Batteries”. The resource person for the second session was Dr. Sujan Sengupta, Professor, Indian Institute of Astrophysics. He spoke on “Discovery of Exoplants –search for extra terrestrial life”
